Donald Oris Parsons, 82, formerly of Parkersburg, died Feb. 26, 2007, in Indianapolis, Ind.
He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Roy and Cora Greathouse Parsons. He was a member of Linden Lodge 83 AF&AM and Vienna O.E.S. Chapter 151 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mazeline Metz Parsons; a daughter, Dianna Clifton of Indianapolis; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Robert Shannon officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
