| William R. "Bill" White, Jr., 67, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg.
He was born February 18, 1940 at Oka, the son of the late Russell White and the late Sybil Jean Jarvis White Pischke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John White.
"Bill" was a retired self employed businessman. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl White; daughter, Melody Starcher of Spencer; sons, Michael White of Lincoln, Nebraska and Mark White of Spencer; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Thomas P. Jarvis Cemetery, Oka.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
