Kanawha County officials will try to sell Sandy Brae Golf Course in Roane County again.
After an auction resulted in low bids, voted Thursday to have another auction for the 250-acre golf course.
Commissioners had hoped the course would auction for $1.6 million. Investors Oshel Craigo and Dave Hofstetter bid $700,000 for the course.
The commissioners agreed to leave Craigo's offer for the golf course on the table.
Former state senator Craigo, who owns the Tudor's Biscuit World and Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti chains, attended Thursday's meeting and said he didn't mind if commissioners held another auction.
