Woman injured in Big Springs accident
Amanthia Shreves of Cairo was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center Thursday morning by Calhoun EMS after her car went over an embankment near the intersection of Leading Creek Rd. and Rt. 16.
The extent of her injuries was not known, but she reportedly was not seriously injured, able to remove herself from the auto after it rolled-over.
The Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department responded. Sheriff Carl Ballengee is investigating.
