Five juniors were selected by the Calhoun High faculty to attend Know Your State Government Day in February.
Representing Calhoun County at our state capitol was, Briana Blankenship, Amie Carilli, Kayla Miller, Beth Richards and Emily Thomas.
The students visited local representatives and toured the capitol and Cultural Center. The scheduled program included Governor Joe Manchin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Robin Davis, Senate President Earl Ray Tomblin and Speaker of the House Rick Thompson.
