| Alex Lee Murphy, 68, of Reedy West Virginia, passed away February 10, 2007 at Lakin, WV.
Surviving are two daughters, Carla Webb and her husband Jerry of Reedy, and Karen Cain and her husband Marshall of Spencer; one son, Randall Murphy and his wife Penny of Spencer; 2 sisters, Bonnie Laughlin of Arnoldsburg and Amy Starcher of Ohio; a brother, Ernie Norman of Ohio and a half brother, Jerry Chritchfield of Elizabeth; 5 grandchildren, Amanda and Kayla Cain, Stephanie Webb, Megan and Christina Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Birdie Murphy; one son, Douglas Murphy; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 12 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Randy Whited will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery at Nebo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the services Monday. |
