| With natural gas service coming and going for a number of Clay County homes during severe winter weather, now there's a gas leak underneath the U.S. Post Office at Ivydale.
The PSC has been threatening for years to place a number of gas companies in Clay in receivership, but it has never happened.
About 600 gas customers had no heat this week with the coldest temperatures in a decade.
The post office closed in addition to the Lizemore Elementary School.
This gas leak comes just a couple days after Wagner Gas customers lost service for a whole night.
County officials have been setting up shelters this week to keep people warm.
