| Estellena "Stella" Stump, 86, of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, passed away February 2, 2007 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, following a four day illness.
She was born in Preston County, June 28, 1020 to Frank and Kathaleen Danks. She was raised in Calhoun County and lived most of her life there.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step father, Joseph Adams and her husband, Minter Baxter Stump who died February, 1995.
She was a member of Albert's Chapel United Methodist Church at Sand Ridge.
Surviving are one son, Kenmen Stump and his wife Avanell; two grandsons, Jack Stump, and Gregory Stump; and one great grandson, all of Washington Court House, Ohio. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Edith Smith, Eulanee Hathaway, and Grace Stump; several cousins in Preston County, and a special friend, Arthur Haag of Sand Ridge.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 7 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev. Rick Swearingen will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
