| Virginia Ruth Jones Parsons, 49, of Grantsville, West Virginia died January 25, 2007 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.
She was born June 6, 1957, in Ritchie County, WV to Floyd and Leona Bell Jones. She was a homemaker-housewife.
She was married 33 years and lived for her seven kids, her husband, and her 28 grandkids and any other kid that came off the street and called her "Mom," She spent her life taking care of everyone else.
She is survived by husband, George Parsons; sons, George Nicholas Parsons, Jimmy (Sandra) Parsons, George Michael Parsons and Adam Parsons; daughters, Sherry (Jeff) Farrell, Eve (Johnny Blosser) Parsons Reed, and Susan (Billy) Stalnaker; niece, Lisa (Eric) Barr; 28 grandchildren; brothers, Willie, David, Jerry, Fred and Albert Jones; sisters, Bertha Jane Jones, Betty Parsons, Nellie Moss, Terry Bea Clark, Barbara Grey, and Susie Fox.
She was preceded in death by brothers Roger Allen Jones and Robert Bell.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. |
