The mobile home belonged to Frank and Pat Smith of Creston. They lost everything.
The Elizabeth-Wirt VFD answered the call about 8 p.m., sending three units and a dozen firemen. They were still on the scene at 10 p.m.
The dwelling was located on a hillside about one-eighth mile from the old Creston Store.
The Grantsville VFD was summoned for mutual assistance, sending a pumper and a tanker.
