If you think, you might need a post Christmas mid winter pick me up Teen Fest 2007 might just give you the lift you're looking for.
Teenagers 13 and over can take advantage of this first 3-day weekend. Teen Fest will be held at the Calhoun County Park Barn on January 14th and 15th from 3 p.m. on Sunday to 3 p.m. on Monday. Come stay overnight for the whole event or come for Sunday and/or Monday day activities.
You will need to be 13 to 18 years of age during the 2007 calendar year and a parent or guardian will have to sign the emergency medical form, which will be available when you arrive, if you do not already have one.
This overnight event will feature two performances by Calhoun's Overflow band, playing a wide range of Christian music.
Joining them this year will be Christian magician Kerry D. Blair and David Cain, Juggler for Jesus who will not only entertain you but also teach you how to juggle! There will also be lots of games and other activities throughout the two-day event.
This event is completely free to those who will be 13 to 18 years of age during the 2007 calendar year. All meals and snacks will be provided so the only thing anyone needs to bring is overnight items and the emergency medical form signed by your parent or guardian.
It makes no difference what church you attend or if you attend one at all. You are welcome!
