Investigators are determining what caused an explosion that killed a Tyler County man and injured nine others Monday at a coal-burning power plant in Beverly Ohio.
The explosion killed 61-year-old Lewis Timmons of Middlebourne. He was a truck driver delivering pressurized hydrogen.
Officials say the blast occurred just outside American Electric Power's Muskingum River Plant.
Hydrogen gas is highly explosive, but it is used to cool steam generators at the plant.
There appears to be extensive damage.
