| Marcia Anne Hays-Drake, went to be with our Lord and Savior at 9:59 p.m. on December 31, 2006 due to a long illness of heart disease and diabetes.
She was born in Charleston on July 22, 1962 the daughter of Marjorie Hays-Barnett, and the late William R. Hays.
She is survived by her only son, Samuel Glen Harrison of Spencer; her mother, Marjorie Hays-Barnett of Looneyville; two sisters, Martha Jane Smith of Spencer, Lisa Delaney and husband Richard Delaney of Spencer; one brother, William T. Hays of Looneyville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father William R. Hays of Spencer; her step-father Earl G. "Sandy" Barnett of Looneyville; and her grandparents, Ralph W. and Nettie King of Looneyville.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday January 4, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 3, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
