| Erna "Ernie" Norman Stemple Deem 89, passed away
December 23, 2006 at the Ohio Valley Health
Care, Parkersburg, WV. She formerly resided in
Vienna and at Market Manor in Parkersburg.
She was born June 19, 1917 at MacFarlan, Ritchie
County, the daughter of the late John W. and
Elizabeth Smith Norman of Calhoun Co. WV.
She had worked at O'Ames Co., Sears Paint
Department and was a homemaker; she enjoyed
camping and Trout fishing and was a Methodist by
faith.
She is survived by a son Marvin Stemple and his
wife, Peggy of Arnoldsburg, WV; five
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in
death by her first husband Forest F. Stemple;
her second husband Walter L. Deem; one son
Gerald Bryan Deem; one grandson Michael Deem;
three sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday December
26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lambert-Tatman
Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Rev.
Jim Lynch officiating.
Visitation will be one
hour prior to services. Burial will follow in
Evergreen South Cemetery.
