| Larry R. Jett, 65, of Looneyville, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at his farm, from injuries received in a farming related ATV accident.
He was born January 15, 1941, in Charleston, a son of Thelma G. Smith Jett of Looneyville and the late Erstine R. "Herb" Jett.
Larry was a retired carpenter and a member of the Carpenter's Local 1207, Charleston. He was a 1958 graduate of Spencer High School.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, June Jett of Looneyville; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tim Wilson of Leroy; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Mary Jett of Given, David and Cheryl Jett of Looneyville, Tim and Cynthia Jett also of Looneyville; brothers, Ronnie Jett of Elkview, Danny "Duke" Jett, Terry Jett, Blake Jett and Jimmy Jett all of Looneyville; sisters, Cathy Foster of Cartersville, GA and Judy Myers of Looneyville; nine grandchildren and one great grandson; six step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery, Vineyard Ridge, Looneyville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
