Carless 'Carl' Ray Webb, 91, of Parkersburg, died Aug. 12, 2001, at the
Sunbridge Nursing Home of Salem, W.Va., after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 12, 1909, in Spencer, son of the late L.D. and Amy Lowers
Webb. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Virginia Rogers Webb; one daughter, Marion
Cooper of Plant City, Fla.; one sister, Ann Holland of Clover, W.Va.; one brother,
Jack Webb of Reedy, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Connie Workman, Julie
Robertson, Mark Cooper, Mona Dowd and Debbie Gunter; and seven
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Thomas; two sisters, Shirley
Robbins and Hazel Clarkson; and one brother, Nolan Webb.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home of
Spencer, with the Rev. Clifford West officiating. Burial in the Clover Cemetery.
Visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
