The Upper West Fork Park Winterfest Pageant held on November 11 have announced the following winners.
The pageant committee encourages the winners to participate in the Hometown Country Christmas parade on December 1 in Grantsville. Participants may meet in front of the Grantsville Foodland between 5-5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
2006 Winterfest Pageant Winners -
Bryson Love, 2 month old son of Lisa and Henry Love of Roane County in the 0-6 month category.
Charles Lynch, 8 month old son of Victoria Lynch of Arnoldsburg in the 7-12 month category.
Kennedy Ater, 22 month old son of Kenny Ater and Sara Keen of Nebo was selected first place winner in the 13-23 month category; Eric Keiffer, 14 month old son of Tommy and Betsy Keiffer of Indore was selected second place.
First place winner in the 2-3 year old category is Ethan Hardman, 2 year old son of Terra Hardman and Jonnathan McIntyre of Grantsville; second place winner is Isaiah Keiffer, son of Tommy and Betsy Keiffer of Indore.
Haley Love, 3 year old daughter of Lisa and Henry Love of Roane county is the winner in the 2-3 year old girls category.
Stacie Snider, 5 year old daughter of Kristie and Mike Snider of Orma was chosen first place winner in the 4-5 year old category; Emilee Holcomb, 4 year old daughter of Dana and Bridget Holcomb of Indore was the second place winner; and Madelynn Adkins, 5 year old daughter of Ronald and Carol Adkins of Sand Ridge was chosen third place winner.
Clarissa Keiffer, 7 year old daughter of Tommy and Betsy Keiffer of Indore was selected first place winner in the 6-8 year old category; second place winner is Katelynn King, 6 year old daughter of Sheila and Gary King of Roane County; third place winner is Amanda Yearn, 8 year old daughter of Anthony Yearn of Chloe.
Rebecca Yearian, 9 year old daughter of Anthony Yearian of Chloe was chosen first place winner in the 9-11 year old category; second place winner is Daniella Richards, 10 year old daughter of Emma and Gary Richards of Big Bend.
Felicia Chapman, 14 year old daughter of Tommy and Betsy Keiffer of Indore is the first place winner in the 12-14 year old category; second place winner is Megan Shaffer, 14 year old daughter of Terrie Shaffer of Wallback; third place winner is Megan Martin, 13 year old daughter of John and Teresa Martin of Spencer.
First place winner in the 15-17 year old category is Amanda Salisbury, 15 year old daughter of Vicky and Henry Davis of Clay County; second place winner is Lyndsay Turner, 16 year old daughter of Coreen Kennedy of Chloe.
Photogenic Winners are - Kennedy Ater, Haley Love, Emilee Holcomb, Stacie Snider, Madelynn Adkins, Kelsie Love, Katelynn King, Kaylee Ban field, Danielle Richards, Megan Shaffer, and Lyndsay Turner.
The Upper West Fork Park committee would like to thank everyone who helped with the 2006 Winterfest - the 26 contestants, MC Joe Bragg, Kristie Snider and Becky Swisher organizing and decorating, Randy Perkins for the use of the UWFVFD fire hall and stage, judges, Ashley Knight of Grantsville and Glenna McLaughlin of Arnoldsburg, and Becky Swisher of Chloe.
