Lovie Delores Richards Collins, 85, of Big Springs, West Virginia died November 25, 2006 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville, WV.
She was born January 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Emory V. and Ora E. Bartlett Richards. She was a Methodist by faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Grover H. Collins; two daughters, Janice Novak of Seven Hills, Ohio and Lucy (Ed) Hill of Washington, WV; sons, Phillip (Robyn) Kelley of Atwater, Ohio, and Bill (Becky) Collins of Mt. Zion, WV; brothers, Obed (Janet) Richards and Hobart (Alta Mae) Richards all of Big Springs; and a sister, Lola of Penobscot, ME; 14 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hollie Kelley in 1946; 7 brothers, Lester, lee, Orla, Park, Cleo, Woodrow, and Lawrence; 2 sisters, Alta and Genevieve.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 28 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery, Nobe, WV.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
