Born in Calhoun county, he was a son of the late Harold and Delia Wilson Kight. He was a US Army veteran of WW II.

Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Michael and Joyce Kight of North Olmstead, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Nila Osborne of Five Forks, WV; three grandchildren, Kayla, Kevin and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Crystal Martin and two brothers, Harold Kight, Jr. and Doris Kight.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Reverend Lawson Whipkey will officiate. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery, Nobe, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. Monday until the hour of service.
