CRUMMIES CREEK MAN HAS BROKEN COLLARBONE AFTER BIKE WRECK

A Crummies Creek man who was injured when his bicycle went out of control on Sand Ridge Hill has been released from Charleston Area Medical Center.<

Kenneth Rush, 36, was life-flighted by HealthNet from Arnoldsburg Community Park about 6:30 p.m. Friday to Charleston Area Medical Center.

Family members said Rush suffered a broken collarbone and abrasions, indicating he had been in an accident several years ago at which time he suffered severe head trauma.

Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the scene in a sharp turn on the west side of Sand Ridge.
