| Jean M. Anderson Knopp, 44 of Spencer, WV died Tuesday, August 7, 2001, in Thomas Memorial Hospital,
South Charleston after a sudden illness.
She was born September 4, 1956, in Monongalia County, a daughter of Ruby Marie Howdershelt
Anderson of Morgantown and the late James William Anderson. She was a fourth grade teacher at
Spencer Primary Center, a graduate of Louisiana Tech and a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma
Sorority. She was a well known vocalist in Roane County and the surrounding area. She had appeared in
the Roane Arts and Humanities Council production of "ANNIE." She was a member of the Word of Faith
Fellowship in Spencer.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 2 p.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home,
Spencer with Pastor Geoff Wayne officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Gay, WV. Friends
may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
