| The father of former Arnoldsburg VFD fire chief and a Calhoun 911 dispatcher has died in Roane County.
Frederick H. Waybright, 69, of Reedy, father of Fred Waybright of Arnoldsburg, died Thursday in CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was a retired employee of General Excavating, Inc., Winchester, Virginia. He was a former employee of State Construction and Cedar Lakes Conference Center, Ripley. He was an Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church, Harmony.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Daniel McClung officiating. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Looney Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
