Sectional play began at Calhoun High School Monday evening.
Parkersburg Catholic defeated Gilmer 16-25,30-28,17-25,26-24,15-6.
Wirt Defeated Parkersburg Catholic 25-11, 25-10, 25-10
Williamstown Defeated St.Marys 25-12, 20-25, 25-15, 25-13
Calhoun Defeated Williamstown 23-35, 25-16, 25-20, 25-7
Calhoun scorers were Dani Church 11 (84 sets, 1 ace, 2 kills, 5 blocks),
Courtney McKown 16 (5 aces, 14 kills, 5 blocks), Tessa Batten
17 (4 aces, 1 kill), Caytee Prusack 7 (11 kills, 1 ace, 5 blocks)
Melissa Jarvis 22 (2 aces), Kayla Hixon 24 (5 aces, 1 kill),

Calhoun will play Wirt Wednesday evening at Calhoun beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the Sectional Championship title. Win or lose both teams advance to Regional play at Wirt County on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. against unknown opponents at this time.
This is the first time Calhoun Volleyball has advanced to Regional play. With one win on Saturday the girls could advance to the State Tournament in Charleston.
