Two Calhoun High seniors ended their regular season volleyball career with a victory over Parkersburg Catholic on October 25: 25-9, 19-25, 25-15, 25-10.
Dani Church and Courtney McKown, senior volleyball players, were recognized before the varsity game.
Scorers for Calhoun: Dani Church (85 sets, 6 aces, 2 kills, 7 blocks), Courtney McKown 11 (2 aces, 18 kills, 3 blocks), Tessa Batten 24 (7 aces, 13 kills), Caitlyn Prusack 14 (3 aces, 5 kills, 1 block), Kayla Hixon 17 (3 aces, 3 kills), Jocelyn Cunningham 3, Melissa Jarvis 5 (4 kills), Arla Lane 1.
Calhoun will begin Sectional play tonight at 8:30 in the Calhoun High School gymnasium. Calhoun will play the winner of the 6:30 game between Williamstown and St. Marys.
Varsity Lady Red Devil Volleyball needs your support at tonights game. The Lady Red Devils will play the winner of the Williamstown-St. Marys game. The Lady Red Devils have beat both teams in regular season play. If the Lady Devils win it will be a first for
Calhoun Volleyball to go to the Regionals, which in turn would mean one game from going to the State Tournament in Charleston. So, please come out and show these girls your support.
Junior Varsity lost to Parkersburg Catholic 14-25, 24-26,

The JV team finished their season with a 7-3 record.
Gilmer Co. and Parkersburg Catholic will play at 6:30 p.m. this evening in the Calhoun Middle School gym, the winner will then play Wirt Co.
The top two teams this evening will advance to regional play.
