Ruby Jo Conley, 81 - Left Hand (10/27/2006) Ruby Jo Conley, 81, of Left Hand, WV, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006, in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV, following an extended illness. Surviving relatives include her husband, Harley C. Conley, whom she married on September 21, 1941; son, Harley A. Conley of Looneyville, WV; daughters, Linda Starcher of Ripley, WV, and Peggy Nichols of Canton, OH; sister, Sybil Ellis of Parkersburg, WV; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Garnet Batten; brothers, Ernest Truman, Sam Ellis, Cecil Ellis, and Robert Truman. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clover Cemetery, Clover, WV, with the Rev. Leon Strickland officiating. There will be no visitation. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, is in charge of the arrangements.
