| The Calhoun County Wood Festival has held an organizational meeting, and are beginning to plan for the 2007 event.
Judy Powell has been elected new president, Angie Hersman vice-president, Jackie Blankenship secretary, Jim Sullivan and Teresa Harris co-treasurers.
The festival committee would like to invite anyone in the community interested in helping with the 2007 Wood Festival to join.
"If you just want to help with one committee or if you'd like to be on the committee for everything, you are very welcome," said Judy Powell. Next meeting date will be announced.
It was decided that those in attendance at this organizational meeting would be Board of Directors. The following were appointed to the Board - Judy Powell,

Jim Sullivan,
Terry Harris,

Amber Lamp,
