| DANCE TEAM FUNDRAISER - The newly formed Calhoun Red Devil Dance Team will be having a bake sale fundraiser at the Grantsville Halloween Block Party Saturday evening. All proceeds will go toward purchasing new uniforms, warm-ups and shoes. Dancers will be in costume and passing out candy.
BIG BEND, FIVE FORKS & BIG SPRINGS - The communities of Big Bend, Five Forks, and Big Springs would like to announce that Trick or Treat will be Saturday, October 28th from 6-7 p.m.
GRANTSVILLE HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL - There will be no trick or treat hours scheduled in Grantsville. A Halloween Festival is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. on October 28th for all county children. See Halloween Fest Note: Time change for bringing carved pumpkins to the VFW for the contest. Please bring your carved pumpkin to the VFW building located behind the Post Office in Grantsville. You may bring the pumpkins on October 25, 26 and 27th from 4 to 6 p.m. Someone will be available to check each pumpkin in.

CRESTON HALLOWEEN - Creston Community Building at 6 p.m. on October 28. Hayrides, costume judging, treats, rides, hot dogs, etc. Everyone welcome.

SPENCER-MADE HORROR MOVIE PREMIERES - "Pretty Girls Make Graves" premieres October 31 at 9:30 p.m. at the Robey Theater in Spencer. There will also be live music by Criminal Supply Company and a magic show. Admission is $5. |
