| West Virginia residents who need some help paying their heating bills can apply for assistance.
The heating assistance aid will be processed by the local Department of Health and Human Resources office starting in December.
Those who received help through the Low Income Energy Assistance Program last year will receive applications through the mail.
New applications will be accepted from December 4th through the 15th.
Income and the number of people in a household will determine who is eligible for assistance.
The heating assistance program comes from a federal block grant.
