MINIGH JURY TRIAL POSTPONED - Springston Pleads Not Guilty DUI Causing Death

Two jury trials did not go on as scheduled yesterday in Calhoun Circuit Court.

Judge Thomas Evans III was presiding, with Calhoun prosecutor Matt Minney representing the state.

A trial which involved a plea by Danny Minigh was postponed after Minigh became ill and was taken to the hospital. Minigh was indicted on drug charges related to a meth lab which was discovered on Hog Knob Hill near Grantsville.

The drug case against Jennifer Jones was continued after Jones' attorney Rocky Holmes claimed he found a flaw in her indictment.

Dennis Siers pled not guilty during his arraignment related to a marijuana charge, with his trial set for February.

Greg Springston, who has been charged with DUI causing death and manslaughter, pled not guilty and was remanded to Central Regional Jail until arrangements can be made for home confinement.
