In 2000, Andy McKelvey started the McKelvey Foundation. Each year the foundation offers young people from rural areas the benefits of a college education without the burden of debt that many students face after graduation. Currently the McKelvey Foundation supports over 600 students throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
