The Quilters Celebration came to a close at the Mt Zion Post office on September 22. Winners were selected by judges, Shirley Mace of Millstone and Erma Miller of Orma.
Entering quilts were Roberta Hartshorn, one in memory of her mother, Donna Headley and one in memory of Emogene Hartshorn; Violet Hardway; Wanda Self; Jessie Wilson; Tyrena Mangus; and Mila Arnold one quilted by Vesta Arnold and one by an unknown quilter.
Rosette Ribbons were awarded 1st Place-Wanda Self, 2nd Place-Violet Hardway and 3rd Place-Roberta Hartshorn.
