Orva H. Butler 90 of Stow, Ohio, died July 31 at home after an extended illness.
She was born September 24, 1910, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Grant and Jessie
Clevenger
Hall. She was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, of Akron. She was a
former
employee of Ravenna Arsenal in Ravenna, Ohio. She was a member of the Foresters Lodge in
Akron and
was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Flora Iva Flinner of Naples, Florida; a son, Lewis gene Butler of
Stow; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vier Butler on January 28, 1989 and a son, Vier
Butler, Jr. on March 11, 1932.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 4 at 11 a.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home in
Spencer with
Reverend Michael King officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Cemetery at
Leatherbark.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 3.
