Wirt County authorities responded to a 911 call in Creston before noon today to what was said to be a shooting.
The Elizabeth detachment of the WV State Police said there was no shooting, although it was apparently reported.
A person was reportedly taken for medical treatment, and authorities likely made an arrest regarding the incident, which took place near the Creston Community Building.
The Wirt County Sheriff's Department and Wirt County EMS responded to the call. |
