Edwin Eugene Sampson, 63, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Friday, June 16, 2006 at Roane General Hospital.
He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Joe and Beulah Kelley Sampson. He was formerly employed at Monarch Rubber Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing and talking.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Talbert and Dianna Lyons, both of Spencer; three sons, Mike, Donald and Jerry Sampson, all of Spencer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Harris Sampson; two brothers, Ray and Boyd Sampson; and one sister, Barbara Sampson.
Service was Sunday, June 18th at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Whited officiating. Burial was in Gibson Cemetery near Arnoldsburg.
