| William H. "Bill" Hickel, 79, of Naples, FL, died Saturday, August 26, 2006, in the Heritage Health Care Center, Naples, Florida.
He was born July 24, 1927, in Charleston, a son of the late Robert R. and Elizabeth Nida Hickel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hickel; one brother, Bob Hickel; one sister, Freda Stanley.
"Bill" was a resident of Clover until 1980 and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include one son, Chris Hickel of Naples, FL; one sister, Betty Burton of Lenoir City, TN; two granddaughters, Jennifer Hickel and Miranda Hickel both of Naples, FL.
Friends may call at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, when the funeral procession will leave to go to the Clover Cemetery, Clover, for a graveside service, with the Rev. Leon Strickland officiating.
