| Locie Idena Batten Morris, 85, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away August 28, 2006 at her home.
Born at Walton, Roane County, she was a daughter of the late Sammuel and Julia Abigail Romine Batten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey Morris, Sr.; two brothers, Alfred and Faud Batten; and one sister, Zena Batten Pence.
Surviving are two sons, Clarence Batten of South Charleston, and Okey "Buck" Morris and his wife Kay of Chloe; daughter, Mary Gail Cross and her husband Floyd of Chloe; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and her caregiver, Wendy Cadle Taylor of Nebo.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 1 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Darrell Mollohan will officiate. Interment will be in the Morris Cemetery at Chloe.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. |
