| Former POW Jessica Lynch is pregnant.
Lynch's publicist, Aly Goodwin Gregg, announced yesterday that the 23-year-old Lynch and her boyfriend Wes Robinson are expecting their first child in January.
Robinson and Lynch met through family friends.
He lives in Vienna and works at a manufacturing plant.
Lynch says their families are very happy and that Robinson is the perfect match for her.
Lynch was an instant celebrity in the early days of the Iraq war when she was rescued in a nighttime special forces raid from an Iraqi hospital.
She returned to Elizabeth after her release from a military hospital and was briefly engaged to Army Sergeant Ruben Contreras Junior.
Lynch joined the Army at 18 to earn money to attend college. The state offered her free tuition to West Virginia University. She recently announced she was transferring from WVU's main campus to the Parkersburg campus closer to home. |
