Billy Ray Hardway, 45, of Millstone has been charged with three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and illegally possessing a firearm and is currently in Central Regional Jail.
The charges are related to an incident that happened on Daniel's Run on August 13 when Hardway allegedly pointed a gun at three youths and threatened to kill them, according to the warrant.
Charges are yet to be brought against Hardway for Monday's incident that ended in Hardway being shot by DNR officer John Apgar. Apgar was attempting to serve the felony warrants for the August 13 incident.
Hardway is being held on $100,000 cash bond at CRJ.
The WV State Police Crime Lab was reportedly dispatched to the Daniel's Run residence of Ramona Price yesterday where the shooting occurred, part of the continuing investigation.
Hoy Murphy, a communications specialist with the WV Department of Natural Resources, has not released a statement regarding what caused officer Apgar to shoot Hardway, nor has the WV State Police.
Hardway was shot in the shoulder and taken to Charleston Area Medical Center following Monday's incident.
