West Virginia University Hospitals-United Hospitals moved up one spot to second and Charleston Area Medical Center fell to third.
Kroger remains fourth, and CSX fifth.
American Electric Power is sixth, followed by Lowe's Home Centers, Consolidation Coal, Verizon and St. Mary's Hospital.
Twenty-one of the largest private employers are hospitals or other health care providers.
No manufacturing plant made the top ratings.
