| Cecile Barnes, 94, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away August 17, 2006 at Miletree Health Care Center, Spencer, following a long illness.
Born in Illinois, she was a daughter of the late John and Effie Downy Booker. She was a foster grandparent for 14 years and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist by faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Brown of Spencer; 2 grandsons, Craig Sturm of Ft. Hood, Texas and Eric Sturm of Indian Trail, North Carolina; 4 great grandchildren, Orion Sturm and Lincoln Sturm of Panama, Hayley and Brogan Sturm of Ft. Hood; a niece, Myrtle Graham of Grayling, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Barnes; 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 21 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery.
