Waco Oil & Gas announced this week a more than 11-acre sports complex will
be built in the Hays City area of Glenville, along U.S. 33 & 119 between
Babcock
Lumber and Miller Piping Supply.
When completed it will be christened the 'Sue Morris Sports Complex.'
The multi-use facility will be anchored around three ball diamonds. The
largest, an NCAA
approved baseball field; the other two are designed for little league
baseball, softball,
t-ball and coach's pitch.
One of the smaller fields will have a removable mound to allow for girls
softball play.
The goal is to have playable surfaces by early April.
