Francis Cain's 30-ton Bailey Bridge project at Big Bend is moving along, with the piers in place and part of the main deck being assembled.
The deck will eventually be "scooted" across the piers to become permanently attached.
Cain said "I've always dreamed of having a bridge (across the Little Kanawha) to my house, and now it's happening."
Construction started in April.
