On Tuesday, July 24th another Lights On project started at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. The program "LIGHTS ON and
READ!" was open to children from birth to 10 years of age from anywhere in the County.
A total of 38 children and 23 adults
attended the reading workshop.
Children participated in singing and story-time, made crafts and enjoyed a snack. All children were
given a new book.
The next workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21, 2001 Toddlers 5:00-6:00 and Preschoolers 6:30-7:30
and Tuesday, August 28th for grade school 6:00-7:00 pm. The program is open to anyone wanting to attend.
