| Carl J. Wix, 74 of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Creston, West Virginia, passed away July 14, 2006 at Hospice Care Center of Akron, Ohio after a couragous battle with cancer.
Born at Creston, he was a son of the late Harold and Hazel Nutter Wix. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are a son, Larry Wix of Akron; a sister, Charlotte (Burl) Riggs and a granddaughter, Kristin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy.
Graveside rites were held Tuesday, July 18 at the McCray Cemetery at Creston. Rev. Delmas Stutler officiated.
