| The Herald is up and running, after a much longer time being down than any of us expected.
We have received hundreds of phone calls and e-mails wanting to know when it would be back on-line.
Hopefully, we answered them all and are grateful to our thousands of readers.
It was encouraging to have people stop and ask about the Herald's return, including being stopped "country-style" by oncoming cars and flashing lights on the highway, asking "Well, when? I'm addicted to the Herald and in withdrawal."
Interestingly, despite the lack of current news and articles, the readership numbers stayed about the same, with people checking in to see if it was back on-line.
While down, we continued to cover events, write stories and take photos, all of which will now appear in the next 48 hours.
We're also working on a new format, a new look which we hope the readers will like, including some new additions.
