| Troy C. Metheney, 71, of Amburgy, Kentucky, formerly of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away July 3, 2006 at Hazard Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky.
Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late William and Sarah Jarvis Metheney. He was a press operator.
Surviving are his wife, Madeline Metheney, son, Dwain Metheney and daughter, Susan Cogar, all of Kentucky; sister, Halcie Shaffer of Chloe; brothers, Donnie Metheney of Seville, Ohio and Dewey Metheney of Creston, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Interment will be in the Metheney Cemetery at Nebo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
