| Vista Burroughs Gainer, 87, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away June 24, 2006 at Sunbridge of Glenville following an extended illness.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Minty Stump Burroughs. She was a former employee of Rubber Crafters, Inc. and was a member of the Rush Run Baptist Church near Stumptown.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Gainer and two sons, Jack Gainer of Harrisville and James Gainer of Williamstown; one sister, Mildred Bates of Arizona; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurl and Elton Burroughs.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will be in the Collins Cemetery at Stumptown.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. |
