This car (above) lost control on Mt. Zion Ridge (Rt. 16) near the Calhoun Middle-High School at 10 a.m. Monday.
The vehicle struck the side of a block garage at the former Holly Nester Store.
The driver did not appear to be injured.
Calhoun EMS responded to the accident.
SEVEN ACCIDENTS SINCE SUNDAY
A rash of auto accidents continued yesterday and this morning during a slow drizzle, which has hung over the county the past few days.
At 5 a.m. today there was a single-vehicle accident at the Brannon Straight, three and one-half miles south of Arnoldsburg on State Route 16.
Reports said occupants were out of the vehicle with no visible injuries. Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded.
There was a two-car collision yesterday afternoon on Millstone (US 33-119) east of Arnoldsburg, with no injuries reported.
Another accident was reported Monday at 4:13 p.m. at the mouth of Jesse's Run and Altizer Road, a single car collision sent two to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.
The car struck a rock cliff.
Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded.
