| Two Wirt County teenagers, who allegedly set fire to the Roberts Store in Elizabeth, which burned and damaged other structures in Elizabeth, are scheduled to appear before a magistrate today for preliminary hearings.
Authorities say 19-year-old Willie Trembly, Jr. and 19-year-old Jerod Evans set fire to the 120-year-old landmark two weeks ago.
Both were arrested after giving statements to police.
The state Fire Marshal's Office say the men set the fire to cover up a break-in. They are facing a total of 12 felonies.
A magistrate will hear evidence beginning at 2 p.m. today and decide if the cases should be forwarded to the next county grand jury.
