| Opal Parsons Richards Boatright, 85, of Belpre passed away June 9, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital following a brief illness.<
She was born March 20, 1921, at Millstone, W.Va., a daughter of the late Okey and Mamie Groves Parsons. She graduated from Calhoun High School in 1940 and lived in Ohio since 1943. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Cutler, Ohio.
Mrs. Boatright is survived by two daughters, Beverley Wilber (Harold) of High Springs, Fla., and Patricia Richards of Belpre; one son, Christopher Richards (Carol) of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; a granddaughter, Sabrina Bryan (Kirk) of Marietta; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Wyatt Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cleo E. Richards in 1983; her second husband, R.H. Boatright in 2005; three brothers; and two sisters.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Tatman Funeral Home, 220 Main St., Belpre, with Pastor Lou Whitney officiating. Burial will follow at Centenary Cemetery in Cutler. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
